US vs. THEM premieres January 30th at 7:30 PM at the Sacred Heart University Community Theatre in Fairfield, CT, followed by a live Q&A with the cast, director, and producers.
Connecticut Hall of Change was proud to take part in the world premiere of US vs. THEM at the Sacred Heart University Community Theatre, an impactful event that brought together community leaders, educators, advocates, and residents for an important conversation around justice, identity, and transformation.
US vs. THEM explores the deeply rooted divisions that often exist between systems and the people they serve, particularly within the criminal justice space. Through storytelling and lived experience, the film challenges audiences to reconsider labels, assumptions, and the long-term impact of incarceration on individuals, families, and communities.
The premiere created space not just for viewing, but for reflection and dialogue. Attendees engaged in meaningful discussions around accountability, rehabilitation, and the power of second chances. These conversations align closely with the Connecticut Hall of Change’s mission to recognize and uplift formerly incarcerated leaders who are creating visible, positive change across our cities and towns.
Events like this reinforce the importance of storytelling as a tool for education, empathy, and progress. By amplifying voices that are too often overlooked, US vs. THEM encourages a shift away from division and toward understanding, opportunity, and collective responsibility.
The Connecticut Hall of Change is honored to support initiatives that promote awareness, equity, and pathways forward. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with organizations and creators who are committed to reshaping narratives and building stronger, more inclusive communities across Connecticut.
